GEORGIA AND SOUTHEASTERN COMPANIES CAN LEARN TO EXPAND EXPORT SALES AT JUNE 23 EX-IM BANK-SPONSORED SYMPOSIUM IN ATLANTA
Georgia companies ranging from the engineering and architectural firm Armentrout Roebuck Matheny Consulting Group in Athens, Ga., to the West Point Foundry and Machine Company in West Point, Ga., have expanded their businesses by selling goods and services overseas with the financial support of the Export-Import Bank of the United States (Ex-Im Bank).
Other businesses in Greater Atlanta and surrounding areas can learn how to increase export sales and jobs while minimizing risk at an Exporter Symposium on June 23 in Atlanta, Georgia, hosted by Ex-Im Bank, Regions Bank, the U.S. Commercial Service of the U.S. Department of Commerce, the U.S. Small Business Administration, and the Overseas Private Investment Corporation. The half-day symposium is designed to help businesses of all sizes find foreign buyers, tap into valuable trade information, obtain working capital loans, protect against the risk of nonpayment, and offer buyer financing with U.S. government assistance.
