Washington, D.C. - The Export-Import Bank of the United States (EXIM) today announced the appointment of Lisa V. Terry as Senior Vice President and Chief Ethics Officer.

Ms. Terry re-joins EXIM to head the newly created Office of Ethics after serving as General Counsel of the U.S. Office of Special Counsel. She previously worked with EXIM Bank from 2006 to 2013, including as EXIM Bank's Assistant General Counsel for Administration.

"I am pleased that Lisa is returning to EXIM Bank to lead our Office of Ethics," said Chairman and President Fred P. Hochberg. "Lisa's extensive experience in federal government ethics make her the best person for the position."

Ms. Terry brings 25 years of public-and private-sector legal experience in Washington, DC, including nearly 20 years in the field of federal ethics law. She began her legal career as a law clerk to the Honorable Gladys Kessler at the Superior Court of the District of Columbia. She received a J.D. from Vanderbilt University School of Law and a B.A. in French Language from the University of Virginia.

The Chief Ethics Officer position was established in the 2015 EXIM Charter, and the appointment is subject to the approval of EXIM's board of directors.
