Ex Im Bank Announces FY2010 Advisory Committee Members
WASHINGTON, D.C. - The directors of the Export-Import Bank of the United States (Ex-Im Bank) have named seven new members, and nine returning members, to the Bank's Advisory Committee for 2010. The committee provides Ex-Im Bank with expert guidance from various sectors of the economy to strengthen its support of U.S. exports.
Returning member Robert J. Bernabucci, president of UPS Capital Corporation, Melbourne, Fla., will chair the committee. This year the committee is focusing on challenges for 2010 relating to small business, renewable energy and implementation of the Bank's Strategic Plan.
The committee is scheduled to meet next on Friday, March 12, 2010, at the conclusion of Ex-Im Bank's annual conference at the Omni Shoreham Hotel in Washington, D.C. The Advisory Committee meeting is open to the public.

In fiscal year 2009, Ex-Im Bank set a record, authorizing more than $21 billion in support of U.S. exports to help ease tightened liquidity during the economic crisis.
