Roberto M. Williams joined the Export-Import Bank of the United States (EXIM) in 2014. He served as Director for Data Analytics under the former Office of Strategy and Performance before being named Vice President of the Insights and Data Solutions Division within the Office of Chief Management Officer in 2021.
The Insights and Data Solutions Division is responsible for directing a program that involves advising on, planning, developing, and evaluating vital data analytics program and policy initiatives related to EXIM’s participants, loan, loan guarantee, and insurance programs.
Roberto has been instrumental in improving and expanding EXIM’s master data management capabilities to build greater flexibilities and efficiencies in the core process used to manage, centralize, organize, categorize, localize, synchronize and enrich master data according to the business and operational needs of the agency. He has also been central to elevating EXIM’s business intelligence, reporting, and data visualization capabilities to build greater flexibilities and efficiencies in determining patterns, trends, direction, impact, risks, opportunities, potential outcomes, and other dynamics.
Prior to joining EXIM, Roberto worked in various positions within the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) serving in a senior advisor capacity to the Chief Financial Officer of U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS), as a senior management analyst in the Office of Internal Affairs at U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP), as a program analyst with the Office of Science and Technology (DHS S&T), and as a financial programs/cost analyst at the former U.S. Customs Service.
In addition to extensive data and systems expertise, Roberto has experience in policy, regulatory research, program management, and financial management.
Roberto holds a BA in Communications from The University of Toledo.
