Courtney Chung
Senior Vice President and Chief Management Officer
Courtney Chung has over 20 years of experience working at both Federal and local governments.
As a Chief Management Officer, Ms. Chung oversees the nine offices that directly support EXIM’s overall operations. Those offices reporting to her are the Office of Chief Information Officer, the Office of Chief Technology Officer, the Office of Chief Financial Officer, the Office of Human Resources, the Office of Contracting Services, the Office of Insights and Data Solutions, the Business Services Division, the Facility Services and Capital Planning Division, and the Security Division.
Prior to joining EXIM, Ms. Chung was a Business Planning and Central Management Division Director at the National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA). She was responsible for the organization's operation process, including providing service and support to the NNSA program and field offices on planning, programming, budgeting and evaluating (PPBE) processes. She developed the Budget Analyst Competency Model, led the internal control process for the organization's risk areas, and modified the Service Level Agreements with concurrences from multiple program and field offices.
Previously, she gained extensive experience on budgets and performance reporting, and risk management at both Federal and local governments. During her career at Departments of Labor and Treasury, Ms. Chung developed the staffing data tool that projected the annual cost of salaries and benefits, implemented the invoice tracker for the contracting services to monitor a burned rate, created the financial and performance dashboards, and advanced the Department's five-year Strategic Plans and goals. She was one of the four panelists at the Department of Labor's Trailblazing Women speakers event in 2018 and had won numerous awards during her career.
She earned her B.A. from University of Virginia where she was on the Dean's List and a recipient of the Jack Kent Cooke Scholarship. She also earned her Post-Baccalaureate at Georgetown University.
