Meghan Pasricha
CEO and Co-Founder | Women in Climate Investing and Finance
Meghan Pasricha is the Co-Founder of Women in Climate Investing & Finance (“WICIF”), a global network of more than 2,000 members. Meghan and the co-founders launched WICIF to educate, empower, and support women investing in clean energy, infrastructure, and the energy transition. She is also an Angel Investor, a Senior Advisor to energy companies, a Techstars Mentor, and serves on the Council on Climate and Energy Transition for the Export Import Bank (“EXIM”) of the United States.
Meghan was recently a Managing Director at Riverstone, an energy private equity and credit firm, where she was an investor for nearly a decade. She is passionate about investing in climate solutions and the energy transition, and she led one of the firm’s first green loans to a community solar company. At Riverstone, Meghan structured green loans and sustainability-linked bridge loans. She also served as an active member on the firm’s ESG Committee, President of a water solutions company, and a Board Observer for multiple companies. Meghan was recognized as one of Kayo’s Top 22 Women in Renewable Energy Finance and Development. Prior to Riverstone, Meghan was an investor in the financial institutions group and private equity team at The Carlyle Group, and she started her career at UBS Investment Bank. Meghan has deep financial expertise with nearly fifteen years working in investing and finance.
She speaks frequently at conferences including the Women’s Energy Network, Young Professionals in Energy, LA and NYC Climate Week, Harvard Leadership Institute, American Association of University Women, University of Chicago Booth Energy Forward Conference, and other national and international conferences. Most recently, Meghan was the Keynote Speaker at the US Development & Finance Forum. Meghan also serves on the Expansion Committee for the Harvard Business School Women’s Association of Greater New York.
Meghan graduated from Harvard College and earned her MBA from Harvard Business School. She is the Co-Founder/CEO and Chairman of the Board of a nonprofit, Global Youth H.E.L.P. and has trained more than 20,000 youth leaders in the U.S. and abroad. She mobilized youth support for the successful passage of the Clean Indoor Air Act, which made Delaware the second smoke-free state. She serves as a mentor and has been featured in Glamour and Teen People Magazines, CNN, and Amy Poehler’s Smart Girls. She has also been honored with the Harvard Business School’s Women’s Association Rising Star Award, World of Children Hero Award, the EPA Children’s Environmental Award, and was inducted into the national Caring Institute Hall of Fame.
